The property is located about 250 metres from the old city centre of Dordrecht on Spuiboulevard, within walking distance of the railway station. The location is also easily accessible by car from the A16. At the rear of the property is a public multi-storey parking facility. The building dates from 1975 and is situated on the edge of the very centre of Dordrecht. It was designed by RGD architect Frank Sevenhuijsen. The building is clad with precast gravel concrete elements and has aluminium window frames with double glazing. The facade of the upper section is clad with steel sheet piling and has wooden window frames with single glazing.

The right side of the building (viewed from the front facade) is adjoined to a new building, while on the left side there is no adjoining property. At the rear there is a small private parking that adjoins a multi-storey parking facility. The condition of the building is good, and the property has been well-maintained. No serious structural problems - such as cracks caused by subsidence etc. - have been identified. The existing electrical and water installations date from 1984 and 1994.
