Remarkable redevelopment opportunity on the edge of Scheveningen

This remarkable location was a truly unique redevelopment opportunity.
It is unique as a result of its free-standing central position on the crossroads between Plesmanweg and Badhuisweg, opposite Madurodam. It is surrounded by water and greenery, yet close to the centre of The Hague and major access roads. The location also has very good access by public transport. The property includes an approach road and a gross floor area of approximately 40,000 m². The plot measures approximately 27,666 m² with around 400 m² of on-site parking.

Other information
The older section of the building, which has been designated an official national monument, was designed by D. Roosenburg in collaboration with P. Verhave and J.G.E. Luyt. The first section was built in 1940, while the rest of the building was completed after World War II.
In 1987, the building was extended with a new wing (called ‘Saxophone’). This section was designed by C. van der Hoeven and K.J.M. Rosdorff.
